Disney4me
Breaking news! The Disney Villains have stormed Cinderella Castle and have reclaimed Magic Kingdom ONCE AGAIN! Villains After Hours We’re here to witness the very first of many 2020 Disney Villains After Hours tonight! And while these hard-ticketed parties only take place on select nights at Disney World, here’s what’s been going down with all your favorite Disney baddies since you saw them at last year’s sinister soiree! We’re frightfully excited to tell you there’s EVEN more malevolent and strange happenings at the 2020 Disney Villains After Hours parties than EVER BEFORE! Let’s start with the most important stuff (for us)… THE FOOD! Disney Villains After Hours Exclusive Snacks and Drinks This year’s Villains After Hours features 11 new party-exclusive treats (and a returning favorite!) Painting the Roses Red The Painting the Roses Red at Cheshire Café was easily one of the prettiest desserts of the evening. And it tasted as good as it looked too! It’s made from cheesecake mousse with raspberry gelee, red cocoa butter spray, and buttercream leaves. Painting the Roses Red Read our full review of the Painting the Roses Red HERE! Royal Majesty The Cheshire Café is also where you’ll find the Royal Majesty. It’s a strawberry-flavored cake pop dipped in red-dyed white chocolate and coated with sprinkles! Three cheers for the Queen of Hearts for coming up with such a wonderfully vile snack! It was the favorite treat of the night for some of us! Royal Majesty Cake Pop Check out our review of the Royal Majesty here! Hearts on Fire Cheshire Café’s third offering is Hearts on Fire — a fruit punch mixed with Coke, strawberry popping candy, and garnished with a heart-shaped strawberry! Hearts on Fire Click here to read our review of Hearts on Fire! The Diamond in the Rough Meanwhile, if you’re as thirsty as Aladdin’s Jafar, you can seek The Diamond in the Rough at Tortuga Tavern! It’s made from mango slush with nutmeg and cinnamon topped with whipped cream and garnished with a dark chocolate diamond. Diamond in the Rough Read what we thought of The Diamond in the Rough HERE! Locked Away Maiden Main Street Bakery is serving up a Locked Away Maiden! It’s a loaded grilled cheese sandwich with pepper jack cheese, provolone cheese, bacon jam, and tomatoes. It may not be the most attractive treat but it actually was quite tasty! Locked Away Maiden See our review of the Locked Away Maiden here! Voodoo Magic Sleepy Hollow is brewing up some Voodoo Magic for the party! It’s a shimmering mix of lemonade Vitamin Water with green apple syrup and comes garnished with a candy straw! This was a fun idea that was lost in the execution. Ours also wasn’t particularly shimmery (that we could tell!). Maybe others will have better luck in the cards! Voodoo Magic Check out how the Voodoo Magic tastes HERE! Just Take Three We also tried the other villainous offering at Sleepy Hollow, Just Take Three! It features three beignets dusted with powdered sugar and served with vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream and chocolate ganache! This fell pretty flat for us. We’re hoping they got hit with a case of first-night jitters! Just Take Three Beignets Read our review of Just Take Three right over here! Body Language We were sure to save plenty of room for Body Language at Storybook Treats! This cookies and cream mousse with chocolate cake, glacage, meringue tentacles, and a chocolate shell is a sweet and fitting ode to Ursula the Sea Witch! Body Language Check out what we thought of Body Language here! Poor Unfortunate Soul Storybook Treats is also where you can snag the Poor Unfortunate Soul! The float is made with black raspberry soft-serve and Cherry Coke garnished with a sugar crown! Poor Unfortunate Soul Read the sweet details (including our review!) of the Poor Unfortunate Soul here! Hades Hot Dog If you like your villainous treats extra-spicy, look no further than the Hades Hot Dog at Casey’s Corner! It’s an all-beef hot dog topped with buffalo chicken, diced celery, fiery cheese dust, and spicy ranch drizzle! Hades Hot Dog Click here to read our FULL REVIEW of the Hades Hot Dog here! Hades Temptation And here’s a familiar-looking face! The Hades Temptation is returning to this year’s party, but it’s been moved to Casey’s Corner! The purple drank is a frozen mocktail “Cosmo” with lemonade, violet syrup, and a gummy worm garnish! Hades Temptation Mocktail We tried The Hades Temptation at last year’s party — here’s what we thought of it! Five Dozen Egg Slushy No one does it better than Gaston, right? Well, he’s serving up a Five Dozen Egg Slushy over at Gaston’s Tavern for the event. This frozen slush is made with frozen custard with brown sugar, whipped cream, and a cinnamon stick. Five Dozen Egg Slushy Read our full review of the Five Dozen Egg Slushy HERE! Complimentary Treats And don’t forget — your Disney Villains After Hours ticket entitles you to all the popcorn, specialty ice creams, and soda you want FOR FREE, so save some room for all those goodies, too! Complimentary Popcorn and Soft Drinks Complimentary Drinks Complimentary Mickey Premium Bar See how good it is to be so bad? We could grow accustomed to this kind of villainous lifestyle! Disney Villains After Hours Entertainment Magic Kingdom will put on it’s most evil best for the evening during Villains After Hours. Around the park and in front of Cinderella Castle, expect sinister lighting and sound effects to set the mood all night! You can even bust a move courtesy of the DJ spinning tunes in front of the castle most of the night! Villains Unite the Night We hope all those ne’er-do-well snacks and sips worked up your appetite for some villainous entertainment. Villains Unite the Night is about to start! The show is performed at the Cinderella Castle stage and runs about 20 minutes long. You’ll get to see Hades, Meg… Hades at Villains Unite the Night …Dr. Facilier… Dr. Facilier …The Evil Queen… Villains Unite the Night …Jafar… Villains Unite the Night …and Maleficent, along with others, who’ll all attempt to steal the show! Maleficent Hey, Villains gonna vill, after all! We wouldn’t expect anything less from this unsavory crew! The show if fun and filled with pyrotechnics, fire-twirlers, and more! Villains Unite the Night Villains Cursed Caravan And although none of the Disney Villains meet with guests during the party — it sure is fun watching them do what they do best — BE EVIL at the Villains Cursed Caravan parade! Villains Cursed Caravan We saw the fire-breathing Maleficent Dragon… Maleficent Dragon …and her band of baddies, featuring Oogie Boogie, the Bowler Hat Guy… Cursed Caravan …and the Big Bad Wolf! We just hope he doesn’t blow our houses down! Cursed Caravan But, since this is Villains After Hours, there are a few surprises in store! While Gaston rode out on a horse (looking wickedly handsome of course)… Cursed Caravan …we were also greeted by MORE villains with their henchmen! Cruella cruised down Main Street with Horace and Jasper in tow… Cruella de Vil …the Queen of Hearts marched on with her deck of cards… The Queen of Hearts (Pick a card, any card!) Cursed Caravan …Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella tried to look like royalty (not) in their carriage… The Tremaine Family …and Ursula made her debut with Flotsam and Jetsam, looking for more souls to trick into offering up their voices! Ursula This year, the Caravan will be frightening guests twice nightly (oooh, we’re really scared!). The first caravan will loop around the castle and travel back to Frontierland, while the second will take the regular route at the end of the night. Be sure to wave to some of the villains terrorizing Magic Kingdom’s visitors at the train station, just like last year! Farewell from the Baddies! Check out our full look at this year’s entertainment HERE! Villains After Hours Ride Overlays And, don’t forget — Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain also have received some special villainous overlays for the party! Space Mountain Pirates of the Caribbean Captain Barbossa will be taking leave from The Black Pearl to look for new scalawags to join his crew at Pirates… Pirates of the Caribbean Keep a watchful eye out for some REAL pirates throughout the ride! Pirates of the Caribbean Cast Member Space Mountain Space Mountain is cranking up the volume on a terrifying soundtrack, complete with the villains saying their most iconic lines! This makes the rides EXTRA fun (plus those short wait times help a lot too!). Space Mountain Sign Due to the event’s limited capacity, you may experience shorter wait times for the 20+ rides that remain open during the shin-dig! Disney Villains After Hours Merchandise While earlier we shared with you a sneak peek of some of the Disney Villains After Hours merch, here it is IRL! Villains After Hours Oogie Boogie Sipper We spotted the Oogie Boogie Sipper — very similar to the one Disney Califonia Adventure had for its Ooogie Boogie Bash last year! Villains After Hours Oogie Boogie Sipper Along with a variety of Villain-themed attire like this Hades cap… Villains After Hours Cap …a shirt starring Oogie Boogie and the other baddies… Magic Kingdom Villains After Hours T-shirt …a Passholder exclusive shirt… Villains After Hours Passholder T-shirt …and much more!
