Going on a Disney Cruise is like taking two vacations in one. You can sail the high seas with a tropical drink in your hands and hang out with some fan-favorite Disney pals.

Disney announced recently that we’ll be able to party it up super-hero style when Marvel Day at Sea returns, but we’re also looking forward to when we can set sail to their new tropical destination.

Lighthouse Point will be the second destination available in The Bahamas, joining Castaway Cay. Located in Eleuthera, you will able to explore the natural world around you and put your feet up at the beautiful beaches. We could go for a beach right now!

The man, the myth, the legend Joe Rohde is spearheading this project to remain faithful to the culture, but also create a place filled with that Disney magic. Construction is rumored to begin this year and end sometime in 2022 or 2023.

And now Lighthouse Point has a website! So if you’re looking to keep tabs on this new experience you can head to lighthousepointbahamas.com. The website is filled with information about how Lighthouse Point will protect and sustain the natural environment and so much more. You can also follow along with the island’s progress and news so you can see how the project is progressing.
