Disney4me
There’s a lot happening at the Magic Kingdom right now to get it in tip-top shape for Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021 including the new TRON: Lightcycle Run attraction, which is set to open the year of the big celebration. Gosh, we can hardly wait! Cinderella Castle Before then though, there is still some pixie dust to sprinkle on some beloved attractions. If you were planning on taking a trip on the runaway rails of Big Thunder this spring, we have some news for ya. When attraction times went missing back in December, we suspected that the attraction would be going down for a refurbishment, and today we were able to confirm those suspicions. On the official Disney World web page for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the attraction is now listed as being closed from May 4th to May 21st. ©Disney We do not know how extensive this refurbishment is going to be, but we will let you know if we hear any specifics. If you want to catch a ride through the mines, better do it before May 4th. Otherwise, we’ll see how wild the wildest ride in the wilderness is after it reopens.
