If classic comfort dishes are what you crave while visiting Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, The Plaza Restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A. is a long-standing favorite amongst us here at DFB.

This hidden gem has seen some menu changes over the years, and now they’ve seen a pretty major menu shake-up!

Several popular dishes have left the menu for a new streamlined, all-day menu for lunch and dinner. Let’s have a look…

The entrees portion is now a mashup of items that were found on the Lunch and Dinner menus. The Lobster-Fried Green Tomatoes have survived (YAY!) as well as the Seasonal Soup, which is Tomato right now. The Plaza Burger will also cost you $2 extra now, as it went up in price from $20.00 to $22.00.

Noticeably absent are the many diner-style sandwiches that the restaurant was known for, like the Kentucky Turkey Hot Brown Sandwich. Also removed were some of the safe bets that the menu once featured, like the Grilled Chicken sandwich and (one of our favorites) the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich. Goodbye, old friend.

Sadly, the extreme milkshakes at the Plaza are no more for now! We’ll miss the giant creations the came up with, like the mega-sized Minnie Milk Shake. But not all is lost! Thankfully, the bottomless milkshakes are still available.

Meanwhile over on the Breakfast menu, not much has changed!

This is an interesting change-up and limits the available options found at this popular turn-of-the-century inspired spot for Lunch and Dinner diners. All-day menus are a fairly common thing around Walt Disney World these days and certainly can help cut a restaurant’s costs down. We’re glad to see a few items we enjoy made the cut (we still got Plaza Loaded Fries, y’all!). Menus can change frequently at Disney World so we’ll keep an eye on the Plaza and let you know of any menu changes as they happen!

We’ll continue to monitor the situation and bring you any updates we may find!

What do you think of these menu changes at this popular Magic Kingdom spot? Let us know!
