Review: You Have to See the NEW Sorcerer Mickey Cupcake in Disneyland Resort!

You know we here at Disney Food Blog love our cupcakes and Disney just keeps giving us new creations to enjoy.

Welcome to the Grand Californian!

We’ve got one for you today from Disneyland’s Grand Californian Hotel and y’all, this cupcake is CUTE!

You can find this new sweet treat down at the GCH Craftsman Grill for $7.00.

Inspired by Mickey’s turn as a sorcerer’s apprentice, this cupcake features a vanilla base, white vanilla frosting, and shimmery blue sugar pearls and stars in the frosting.

To round out the whole thing, a chocolate sorcerer’s hat and Mickey ears perch on top.

This cupcake is really cute and makes us jump right into “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” segment from Fantasia. The music is going to be stuck in our heads for hours!

He lost his hat!

While it is tasty and very nostalgic, it is kind of plain and doesn’t really have that “WOW” factor we’ve seen from other cupcakes around the resort. That might actually work to your advantage though if you have kids who are picky eaters or just like simple, reliable flavors.

We’re equal opportunity Disney cupcake lovers over here, so almost any cupcake will get a thumbs up from up. We even love the more simple flavors out there like this lil guy! And this one gets bonus points in the cute department! Head over to Craftsman Grill to pick one up!
