Magic Kingdom We’re finally getting into the swing of things with the New Year, so we’re poppin’ into Magic Kingdom to see what sort of updates we can find. Spoiler alert! There’s a good amount of construction and some refurbishments going on! Check out everything new that we spotted in food, construction, and merchandise! Magic Kingdom Food Updates Main Street U.S.A. Let’s talk about food first! Christmas has vacated the premises at Main Street Confectionery, and in its place, we’re seeing the return of some Mickey’s Birthday Celebration items from last year! You can even snag some of the prepackaged treats again like rice crispies and candy apples. The Red Velvet Loaf Cake is now available at the Magic Kingdom Starbucks location, Main Street Bakery. AND you can still nab that Olaf’s Frozen Hot Chocolate Cake if you haven’t gotten a chance to try it yet! Keep in mind though, we could be saying goodbye to this happy snowman at any time! Skipped Canteen is no longer offering the secret menu Bang Bang Shrimp that was seriously a favorite of ours. NOOOOOOO! Bang Bang Shrimp at Skipper Canteen If you’re curious about why we loved Bang Bang Shrimp so much, click here! Fantasyland AND that’s not the only favorite we saw disappear today! The Gingerbread Sundae is gone at Storybook Treats. At least we have the return of Minnie’s Cookie Dough Sundae to make us feel better! Magic Kingdom Construction Updates Multiple Locations Yesterday, Christmas decorations were still covering the park in red and green. Christmas Decorations Today, the Christmas decor is GONE, minus the lights on the castle! Magic Kingdom Entrance Of course, we had to check in on the pathway construction around the entrance. Bit by bit those Leave A Legacy bricks are disappearing! Entrance Construction Main Street U.S.A. We’re seeing Valentine’s Day displays start to crop up too! We spotted cute little merch arrangements at Main Street Confectionery, Uptown Jewelers, and Main Street Emporium! The Confectionery Valentine’s Day We also saw this wild new construction barrier on Main Street. The side of City Hall is completely obstructed! They’re likely working on the facade of the building. City Hall Construction Tomorrowland As usual, we stopped by TRON Lightcycle Run to check on construction. And y’all, there was a LOT of progress! The outdoor walls are going up! We can’t wait to check out this ride when it opens in 2021. Tron Coaster Construction For ALL you need to know about TRON Lightcycle Run, click here! Adventureland In Adventureland, they’ve replaced a boring old digital wait-time screen at the Guest Experience Kiosk with this new adventure-themed one. We love the new look! Digital Wait Times Frontierland And don’t forget, Splash Mountain is down for its annual winter refurbishment. We checked in and spotted a whole bunch of scaffolding over the construction barriers. Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates Uptown Jewelers Now, let’s talk about that new merch! The recent Park Life Dooney & Bourke collection is now available in Uptown Jewelers on Main Street. Speaking of Uptown Jewelers, the new 45th Anniversary Space Mountian Pandora Charm and the “Couple Forever” Pandora Charm are available as well. Briar Patch Over at Briar Patch, we spotted ANOTHER addition to the massive Park Life collection with these little keychains! You can get these for $3.49 each OR buy all four for just $10! Obvi, we had to get them all. Park Life Keychains Tomorrowland Light and Power Co. At Tomorrowland Light and Power Co. near Space Mountain, we also spotted that totally rad new Space Mountain and Carousel of Progress Anniversary line! Both rides are turning the big 45 this year!
