Disney4me Posted January 13, 2020 Report Share Posted January 13, 2020 Between new attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, or upcoming dining experiences like Space 220, the Disney Imagineers are hard at work for the Epcot transformation! Spaceship Earth If you’ve ever wanted to look “behind the curtains” to see just how the Imagineers come up with their magical ideas, then you’re probs going to want to know about the new exhibit coming to Epcot! In late 2019, Epcot debuted the Epcot Experience, an exhibit at the Odyssey Events Pavilion that showcases the upcoming changes to Epcot. Now, another exhibit will be joining the space — the Imagineer Exhibit! The new exhibit will focus on Disney Imagineers, showcasing the story and attention to detail that they’re using to create new rides, attractions, and experiences in Epcot. Imagineers, or a hybrid of “Imagination” and “Engineering”, are the artists, technicians, designers, and bright minds that truly bring the magic of Disney to life. Whether that’s designing the latest attraction, or even entire lands within the parks, Imagineers are a unique breed of storytellers and innovators. Concept art for the ‘new’ Epcot Along with the new Imagineering Exhibit, the Epcot Experience is also a great spot to scoop up some unique Epcot merchandise, all designed to match the new aesthetic of the park! Epcot Experience Shirts After binge-watching The Imagineering Story on Disney+ we are SO excited to check out this new exhibit! And while we don’t know how long this experience will stick around for, we’re really excited to check it out. The upcoming exhibit will join the Epcot Experience at the Odyssey Events Pavilion in Epcot.
