Disney’s Animal Kingdom The holiday crowds have yet to subside but we’re braving them to say JAMBO! to some New Year treats, construction updates, and new merchandise. Animal Kingdom Food Updates Discovery Island Over at Creature Comforts, the New Year’s Celebration Cupcake replaced the Merry Menagerie cupcake. The New Year’s Celebration Cupcake was also available in Restaurantosaurus and Pizzafari. New Year’s Celebration Cupcake Creature Comforts has also replaced the Peppermint Mickey Brownie with the returning the Rose Gold Brownie. Creature Comforts Bakery Case We don’t expect the New Year’s Celebration Cupcake to last very long over there! Asia Ya’ll know how those line can be insane over at Thirsty River Bar & Trek Snacks. To help combat the issue, a Pop Up Bar had been set up once again. Pop Up Bar The menu has been abbreviated since last but you can still grab a selection of Wine, Bottled Beer, and Non-Alcoholic Beverages. Pop Up Bar Dinoland U.S.A. The New Year may have already begun, but you can still pop bottles over in Restaurantosaurus Lounge where they are currently offering Champagne. Restaurantosaurus Lounge Cocktail Menu Animal Kingdom Construction Updates Discovery Island Colorful Kevin from “Up” is back to roaming around where the Merry Menagerie was located. While we saw her a few times throughout the holidays we’re sooo happy she’s back where she belongs. Kevin Africa Club 33’s Harambe House location is now open and welcoming members! Club 33 Wildlife does a nice job of concealing the main entrance from the public walkway, giving members a little bit of privacy as they head up the gated ramp. Club 33 at Animal Kingdom Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates Riverside Depot The future is looking BRIGHT with this brand new collection of Mickey inspired merch. Previously spotted at Magic Kingdom’s Emporium, the Bright Color Mickey Line is also available at Riverside Depot. Those chilly winter temperatures won’t be a problem with this Bright Color Mickey Sweatshirt priced at $54.99.
