Disney4me
Happy Friday! Are you only a few days away from being in Disney World? Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks at the Magic Kingdom Guests in Disney World next week are going to be able to do a lot (after all, it is Disney!) but there are some things you WON’T be able to do between January 6th and January 12th. Let’s take a look at which Disney World attractions are closed next week in Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom! Refurbishments in Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World Railroad If you’ve been keeping up with our weekly refurb updates, then it will come as no surprise that the Walt Disney World Railroad is not currently operating due to construction on TRON Lightcycle Run. We haven’t heard when we’ll be touring the Magic Kingdom by rail again, but we know that TRON construction is set to wrap up in 2021. Hopefully, we’ll be back on the railroad before then. Disney World Railroad In the meantime, you can at least go see one of the historic locomotives of the train as it sits in residence at Main Street Station. Don’t forget to grab a ‘grammable pic! So, guests visiting the Magic Kingdom won’t be able to outsmart Bre’r Fox alongside Bre’r Rabbit. Splash Mountain is closing on Monday! Splash Mountain Now, this closure is routine so we see it each year. Splash Mountain will be getting some fine-tuning and a few touch-ups while it’s closed. We won’t have to miss this ride for too long though! The briar patch antics are set to start back up on February 28. Click here to read more about the seasonal Splash closure! Refurbishments in Epcot Impressions de France We’re very close to the reopening of Impressions de France in the France Pavilion in Epcot! The show will reopen on January 17th and will feature the new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along. The new show will play in rotation with Impressions. Canada Circle-Vision Theater Over in the World Showcase’s Canada, we’re equally close to the reopening of the Canada Circle-Vision Theater, which will be debuting the new film Canada Far & Wide on January 17th too! Over in Animal Kingdom, you won’t be getting soaked on Kali River Rapids as it closes for its routine winter maintenance. Kali River Rapids The attraction will be closed from January 6th through March 21st, so no river adventures in the near future! Click here to learn more about the Kali River Rapids closure! Primeval Whirl We found out a while ago that Primeval Whirl in Dinoland U.S.A. would be moving to seasonal operation. Sure enough, it opened in late November for the busy holiday season but according to the Disney World website, it looks like it should be closing again this Sunday, so there will likely be no Primeval Whirl next week. Primeval Whirl We’re not sure when we’ll see Primeval Whirl open again; our guess would be the next busy season so we’ll definitely keep an eye on it come summertime. Click here to learn more about the Kali River Rapids closure! And, with no refurbishments in Hollywood Studios, that’s all the closures in Disney World this week! We’ll let you know if anything changes but for now, that’s all! Wondering about the changes coming to Disney World this year? Check out our video! Which attraction are you the most bummed to miss?
