NEWS! Virtual Queue and Boarding Groups Confirmed for Disneyland’s Rise of the Resistance

But on January 17, 2020, it’ll be time to fight the First Order at Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge, too. And in case you’re wondering how Disneyland is going to manage those crazy crowds, we’ve got the answer!

According to the OC Register, Disneyland is confirmed to be using a virtual queue for the attraction’s highly-anticipated west coast opening. Here are the details:

Guests hoping to ride the innovative, immersive attraction will need to be inside Disneyland Park and use the Disneyland app to join the virtual queue. Push notifications will be used to let them know when it’s their boarding group’s turn to join the actual line. From there, it’s smooth sailing… until, you know, they encounter Kylo Ren. And Stormtroopers. And massive AT-ATs. Or unless the ride breaks down. Hmm…
