While earlier today we noticed Epcot’s newly transformed entryway, the entrance to the Magic Kingdom was ALSO stepping up its game in a BIG way!

Happy Holidays from the Magic Kingdom!

We were thrilled to hear the news about guests being able to watch the Magic Kingdom’s Christmas parade and fireworks spectacular during non-party hours, not to mention The Muppets making their triumphant return to Liberty Square this week. And now we’re even more excited after seeing the Magic Kingdom’s entrance today!

Similar to Epcot (and Hollywood Studios), the Magic Kingdom’s entryway has been under heavy construction lately to improve the flow of traffic before Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration which will be taking place in 2021. And while the project is still nowhere near completion, the Magic Kingdom’s entrance looks and feels MUCH better today!

There’s still plenty o’ construction to finish up, but just look at all this room to maneuver! Plus, there are two new gorgeous planters to admire!

We’d say their decision to go with poinsettias for these flower beds is rather on point! Such a festive look to be sportin’ just in time for the holidays!

Each of the new planters also doubles as a nice bench and a great place to grab a quick breather! We have a feeling it’ll be a popular place to meet up with your park hopping family and friends!

Be sure to check out the new planters at the Magic Kingdom’s entrance when you head over to see the Christmas parade, fireworks (without a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket), and The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History!
