We were in quite the line of folks shuffling to get into Epcot this morning!

Yup, Christmas week is HERE big time, meaning HELLO crowds! And as we made our way in, we noticed Epcot’s main entrance had undergone a MAJOR overhaul since we’d seen it last!

For a while now, the main entrance has been under heavy construction as part of Epcot’s transformation. We’re talking a sea of construction walls! But today, SOOO MANY of the construction walls were FINALLY DOWN! We could actually see the big planter in front of Spaceship Earth again, an iconic spot to snap your epic Epcot family pic!

Now that’s more like it! This looks waaaay more like the Epcot we know and love! And just in time for the holidays, too!

The central flower bed looks just as gorgeous as we remembered it! Plus it’s all decked out for the holidays with some snowflake topiaries and Christmas presents! But having this spacious, wide-open entryway is the biggest GIFT of them ALL!

And while we reported back in June about half of the Leave a Legacy monoliths had been removed, the remaining half have finally been taken out, creating a lot more space and airiness at the front of the classic Disney World park!

The only construction walls that remain now are the ones up closer to Spaceship Earth, so we’re not talking finished by any means here — it just looks and feels SOOO much better!

Check out the new entrance for yourself if you’re heading over to Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays this year! And if you need any recommendations, check out our BEST of the FEST list here!
