Disney4me
Welcome back, members of the Jedi (or the Sith). We’re here with another What’s New at Hollywood Studios! Hangar and Transport Vehicle on Rise of the Resistance We’ve got plenty of merchandise, food, and entertainment updates to share with you, so let’s jump into hyperspace and dive into this What’s New! Hollywood Studios Food Update The Rise of Skywalker is officially in theaters, completing the trilogy that we’ve grown to love over the past few years. And, even though it’s the end of the saga (getting emotional just thinking about it), you can celebrate your favorite band of heroes with the Wookiee Cookie at Backlot Express! Has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? Wookiee Oatmeal Cookie Sandwich The sandwich comes with two Chewie (we couldn’t help ourselves) oatmeal cookies with a fluffy whoopie-pie cream filling and a chocolate bar on top that looks like Chewbacca’s bandolier! P.S. It’s so good, it makes us want to say, “Rrrrrrr-ghghghghgh!” Wookiee Oatmeal Cookie Sandwich Check out our full review of the Wookiee Cookie here! On top of all the exciting environmental changes coming to Disney Parks and Resorts, Fairfax Fare is upping the game from paper straws to compostable bowls! Compostable Bowls Although other spots like Catalina Eddie’s and Rosie’s All American Cafe are still using the regular round Disney plates and paper boats, the compostable bowls might be making their way around the parks soon! So, be on the look-out for them! Compostable Bowls Hollywood Studios Merchandise Update If you don’t want to see spoilers for The Rise of Skywalker, scroll past this part of this What’s New (and over to Baby Yoda). Galaxy’s Edge Dok-Ondar’s is leaning a lil more towards the Light Side of the Force, since the store is now carrying TWO new lightsabers from a hero and a redeemed used-to-be villain! The Rise of Skywalker Sabers After Luke‘s old lightsaber was destroyed in the epic Force battle between Kylo Ren and Rey during The Last Jedi, Rey uses the ancient Jedi texts to repair it in The Rise of Skywalker! Thanks to our girl Rey, the Reforged Skywalker Lightsaber looks as great as ever for $129.99 (Luke would be so proud!). Reforged Skywalker Saber While Kylo Ren might be the persona built to “let the past die,” deep down the villain is still Ben Solo at heart. And, we all know where his journey leads him during the new film (we won’t give away any BIG spoilers here!). In honor of Han and Leia‘s boy, you can get Ben Solo’s Lightsaber for $139.99 — yeah, we’re talking about the one that he used when he was training with Luke during The Last Jedi! You can find out why this is sooo important by seeing The Rise of Skywalker in theaters now! Ben Solo Saber Check out everything you need to know about the new The Rise of Skywalker sabers here!
