Canada Far and Wide Opening Date: January 17th, 2020 Check out the new narrators who will be featured in Canada Far and Wide when it debuts at Canada’s Circle Vision Theater in Epcot on January 17th! We’re super pumped to finally know the date (and we had a feeling it was getting close because we’ve spotted a bunch of new Canada Far and Wide signs going up around the World Showcase!). Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along Opening Date: January 17th, 2020 We’ve shared with you a first look at the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along coming to Epcot, but you can experience your first look on January 17th when the show debuts in the France pavilion! The sing-along is voiced by Angela Lansbury herself (a.k.a.Mrs. Potts!) and is a re-telling of the classic love story…but with a twist! Awesome Planet Opening Date: January 17th, 2020 Awesome Planet is a new film experience coming to Epcot’s Land pavilion! And while we recently saw new signs go up, we now know the movie will debut January 17th! Disney has teased Awesome Planet will feature “spectacular nature photography, immersive in-theater effects, and space sequences created by none other than Industrial Light & Magic (which provided the cinematic foundation for the Star Wars franchise). Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Opening Date: March 4th, 2020 Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway has an official date! Earlier we shared with you an exclusive look inside this new ride, new artwork, and even a preview of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway merch! And you better believe we’ll be getting all dolled up (and brushing off our Classic Minnie Ears!) for our first ride on March 4th when the attraction debuts in Hollywood Studios! Space 220 Restaurant Opening Date: Early 2020 While Epcot’s new out-of-this-world eatery, Space 220 Restaurant, has experienced a failure to launch on schedule (originally the space-themed restaurant was projected to open in winter of 2019) we now believe we’re looking at a timeframe of early 2020. And while we found out which meals you’ll be able to enjoy at Space 220 when it opens, we now also know the restaurant will include a LOUNGE! Mickey and Minnie’s Shorts Theater Opening Date: March 2020 Disney has only told us Mickey and Minnie’s Shorts Theater will open sometime in March 2020. The theater will show Mickey Mouse cartoons and will be located where the old theater that housed Star Wars: Path of the Jedi used to be! This new Hollywood Studios attraction will be a great companion to Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway! Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Opening Date: Summer 2020 While we already got a “squeak” peek at one of the ride vehicles from Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, the Epcot attraction isn’t slated to open until sometime in the summer of 2020. We can’t wait to “rat” around Gusteau’s kitchen when this new attraction opens!
