And this Disney World oasis is celebrating the holidays with special tropical-themed decorations, red Nutcracker Tiki Mugs, a TALL Christmas Tree Cupcake— and now, this special seasonal treat!

Meet our new yuletide BFF, The Elf Dome! He’s got the classic good looks of one of Santa’s little helpers. Plus, he’s wearing a little wooly hat and scarf combo made out of red and green frosting!

On the inside, the Elf Dome is vanilla cake with an eggnog-flavored custard! He almost looks too cute to eat! We’re feeling a little bit bad about what we have to do next…

Well, we mustered up the courage… and got him right between the eyes! And we gotta say, the vanilla cake was nice and moist while the eggnog custard really did taste like eggnog! The frosting (which was plentiful!) added a lot of sweetness to the dessert and when we tasted all the components together, we really thought the Elf Dome was a good friend to have…err, have had.

Get your a little Elf Dome buddy for yourself at Disney’s Polynesian’s Kona Cafe for $5.99. And while you’re there, be sure to check out Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto for their Mele Kaliki Mai Tai — a yummy holiday cocktail to go with this little charmer!

What do you think of the Elf Dome? Do you think he’s too cute to eat? Let us know if you’ll be picking one up in the comments below!
