There are SO many aspects of the holidays to love at Disney World!

From festive treats to cheery decorations, we can’t get enough! One of our favorite yearly holiday events at the parks, though, has to be the Candlelight Processional at Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays. The show combines a reading of a traditional scripture (performed by a celebrity narrator), accompanied by a massive choir and live orchestra for a truly special experience.

It was previously announced that Chita Rivera would be the narrator for the Candlelight Processional on December 11th and 12th, but that no longer seems to be the case.

It looks like Alton Fitzgerald White will be replacing her as the narrator for those nights. Alton Fitzgerald White is perhaps best known for playing the role of Mufasa in The Lion King on Broadway! We’re so excited to see his narration for the two nights of the Candlelight Processional!

The Candlelight Processional will be running November 29th through December 30th at the America Gardens Theater in the American Pavilion in Epcot, with shows performed three times each night!
