Disney4me
It’s the first day of the Epcot’s 2019 Festival of the Holidays, y’all! Let’s get merry! L’Chaim Booth And while we’ve been busy visiting ALL of the Festival of the Holiday food booths this year, its time to get our latke on at L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen! Returning for its second year, L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen is THE PLACE to be if you’re in need of a pastrami on rye sandwich. This spot is cooking up some delicious bites, reminiscent of our favorite New York delicatessens! L’Chaim Menu See menus of EVERY Festival of the Holidays FOOD BOOTH here! Food Pastrami on Rye We’re starting off with a returning fave with the Pastrami on Rye. We deemed this Best of the Fest last year so we love seeing it return. This sandwich is $5.00 and comes with house-made pickles and deli mustard. Yummmm. Pastrami on Rye Smoked Salmon Potato Latkes Next up, we have the Smoked Salmon Potato Latke which is new this year! This is a yummy potato pancake piled high with smoked salmon and sour cream. This one is available for $5.00. Smoked Salmon Potato Latkea Potato Latkes with Sour Cream If fish isn’t so much your thing, you can swing for the Potato Latkes with Sour Cream for $3.75. We’re pretty sure this is the replacement for the Potato Knish from last year which was another favorite! This thing is so yummy. Can you really go wrong with a crispy potato and sour cream? Potato Latke Sufganiyot For those sweet tooths, you can grab Sufganiyot for $3.50 which are mini jelly-filled donuts. Woohoo! These are new this year as well and they make for a super fruity and unique dessert option! Sufganiyot Black and White Cookie Another dessert option at this booth is the Black and White Cookie for $2.50 — like you’ll find at a delicatessen! It’s thick and cakey, if a little softer than we’d like. This cookie was part of our Best of the Fest from last year, plus it’s a piece of the Festival of Holidays cookie stroll! Black and White Cookie Drinks Egg Cream Moving onto drinks, we have the Egg Cream made with Milk, Chocolate Syrup and Seltzer (non-alcoholic), this is a super nostalgic treat for many and you can get it for $3.50. Chanukah Hanukkah Pass the Beer Next up, we have the Shmaltz Brewing Company Chanukah Hanukkah Pass the Beer from Clifton Park, NY. This a pretty dark and heavy brew, so if that’s your thing definitely give this beer a try for $4.50. Schmaltz Brewing Company Chanukah Hanukkah Pass the Beer Blue Cosmo Cocktail Last but certainly not least is the Blue Cosmo Cocktail for $10.00 made with plenty of Vodka and Blue Curaçao! The color on this is super fun and it isn’t too sweet so it’s a great cocktail option! Blue Cosmo Cocktail Overall So be sure to check out the L’Chaim!
