And, while we love to hit up places like Les Halles in France and Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in Norway, we’re heading to another country for a tasty treat!

“Sellou” has newly arrived in Tangierine Cafe in Epcot’s Morocco Pavilion!

Sellou is a traditional, special treat from Morocco made with ground fried almonds, ground toasted sesame seeds, browned flour, cinnamon, anise, and honey or sugar.

We can definitely say that we haven’t tasted ANYTHING like this Moroccan dessert before! The nutty flavor has a little bit of spice to it. The anise starts to come through with every bite, making the soft (but not doughy!) Sellou taste almost like a cookie (YUM!). Plus, the lovely crunch of the seeds on top ties the whole thing together.
