Disney4me
It’s the holidays at Walt Disney World. If you’ve been following along, we’ve been sharing EVERY holiday treat that has made its way to the parks! Gingerbread Sundae from Storybook Treats You may remember the new Deck The Halls drink from Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe at Magic Kingdom. This VERY SWEET frosty treat is frozen eggnog topped with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a “chocolate Christmas bulb.” While we found the drink itself to a little sugary but yummy overall, especially for those who love the Christmas staple, our issue was with the piece of white chocolate sprayed red that they tried to pass off as a bulb! Deck the Halls Not too appetizing, eh? The garnish, which could have been REALLY cool, seemed to be more of an after thought. WELL, WE HAVE NEWS! We returned to Cosmic Ray’s and the lightbulb in question received a DRAMATIC upgrade! Updated Deck The Halls The actual cut of the chocolate is much cleaner, making it much easier to decipher that it’s supposed to be a Christmas bulb. Upgraded ‘Christmas Bulb’ The red coloring on the exterior actually sticks and doesn’t end up looking like something from a crime scene as previously. Our favorite part, it’s on a stick! Now, it won’t sink to the bottom of your drink. Deck The Halls Deck The Halls is available from Cosmic Ray’s for $8.99 throughout the holiday season.
