Gingerbread Sundae And while this sweet holiday snack certainly didn’t disappoint, (heck, it EVEN made our must-have Disney World holiday treats list!), here at DFB, we’re always trying to improve upon perfection! It’s just in our foodie DNA! While we’re totally obsessed with the Gingerbread Sundae for $6.99 from Storybook Treats in its current, unmodified form, we were STRUCK by a bolt of holiday inspiration! What makes a gingerbread sundae even better?? Hmmm…how about MORE GINGERBREAD! (Duh, why didn’t this dawn on us sooner!) To replicate this food hack for yourself there’s some math involved, but you won’t need a calculator! It’s a very simple equation. You’re gonna need: 1 Gingerbread Sundae PLUS… Gingerbread Sundae …1 Mickey Gingerbread Cookie (We snagged this one for $3.99 from Main Street Confectionery on our way in, but they’re at Big Top Treats in Storybook Circus as well!)… Gingerbread Man Cookie …EQUALS The DFB-Hacked Gingerbread Sundae!!! Doesn’t it just look like it was meant to be?!! Our Gingerbread Man Cookie looks all nice and cozy nestled in with the gingerbread soft serve, whipped cream, and Minnie Mouse waffle topper. AND NOW there’s so much more gingerbread all up in the mix! Hey, the gingerbread crumbles the sundae comes with are great and all, but WE NEEDED MORE! Give us more GINGERBREAD!!!! Gingerbread Sundae Food Hack Doesn’t it just look like Gingerbread Mickey is chilling in a gingerbread soft-serve jacuzzi?! He’s all like “Hey, gurl, hey” to the Minnie Waffle Topper! We feel you guys — y’all both look delicious. Thanks for allowing us to interrupt your regularly-scheduled holiday eating with this gingerbread-hack PSA!
