We may be past the time of jack o’ lanterns, but pumpkins are still going strong for the autumn season!

Stopping by the Mara in Animal Kingdom Lodge always means taking a peek into the bakery case to see if there are any tasty new treats for us to try. We’ve seen adorable cupcakes and memorable seasonal offerings in the past and today we found a super cute new fall snack! Check out the Mickey’s Pumpkin Patch; bet you want to know what we thought!!!

Mickey’s Pumpkin Patch is a mousse-based desert with a unique mixture of flavors! It’s a dark chocolate ganache tart topped with a pumpkin mousse, pistachio crumble, and buttercream decorations.

The whole thing looks like a big ol’ growing pumpkin with the buttercream making up the leaves and stem and it is SO cute! As for what we thought, this thing is really good. Honestly, we could probably snack on a whole bowl of that pumpkin mousse. We found the chocolate tart to be really rich and thought it sorta overpowered the pumpkin when taking a bite of them together, so we preferred to eat them separately.

The pistachio is super subtle too, so if you’re not a pistachio person don’t let that deter you because the pumpkin and the chocolate are definitely the main events!

Overall, this treat is supah tasty and we’d definitely get it again. Try it for yourself before this seasonal offering disappears for $5.49 at the Mara. We don’t know how long it’ll be around, but we don’t think it’ll stick around for too much longer! If you love pumpkin, don’t miss it!
