Disney4me
It’s a Tale as old As Time… the holidays arrive and with it comes all sorts of seasonal treats at Disneyland! Sleeping Beauty Castle Holiday Decor We’re heading to Fantasyland’s Red Rose Taverne, where they are offering two new seasonal items. If you find your stomach ROARING with a BEAST of an appetite, look no further than the Beast’s Forbidden Pastrami Burger. Priced at $16.49, we were positively enchanted by this burger! Beast’s Forbidden Pastrami Burger Appearances alone, this is one of the better looking burgers we’ve seen inside the parks. Other seasonal burgers, heavily hyped through promises of something amazing, can sometimes fall short. Not here! While other Disney Parks burgers will have you thinking WHERE’S THE BEEF?, This burger is FULL OF MEAT! Of course, the winning ingredient for us was that uncured wagyu pastrami…simply DELICIOUS!! The spicy mustard aïoli was just too good and the Angus beef Patty was VERY moist and actually pretty thick! Beast’s Forbidden Pastrami Burger The “skewered accompaniment” alone was like a side dish, featuring pepperoncini, pepperoni, and a cherry tomato! This burger could easily hold its own compared to other gourmet burgers we’ve had outside of the parks! We don’t want to get ahead of ourselves, but we’ll be sad to see this one go at the end of the season! Beast’s Forbidden Pastrami Burger Now, after ALL that savory if you’re STILL hungry and looking for something sweet, Red Rose Taverne is offering the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Shake. Priced at $7.49, it’s a Frozen blend of White Chocolate and Pumpkin Spice with Salted Caramel and Whipped Cream sprinkled with pie crust crumble Pumpkin Spice Shake The pumpkin spice shake itself wasn’t overpowering at all, so not to worry those who are not into strong PS flavors. It was topped with caramel and whipped cream, which of course are two things you can never go wrong with. Pumpkin Spice Shake The shake was plenty tasty, but nothing particularly unique and outstanding. We keep thinking of the Halloween release version of a pumpkin spice shake in Cars Land which we happened to love because of the large, fresh Graham cracker pieces on top of the whipped cream. Those Graham crackers, along with the seemingly thicker shake, outshined this Red Rose Taverne version a bit. This shake is good, but it could be plussed a bit more to add to the uniqueness. All in all, these are both solid additions to Disneyland’s 2019 seasonal treats! Learn More About ALL The 2019 Disneyland Holiday Treats!
