Disney4me
For months we’ve been wondering how the Na’vi at Disney World’s Pandora: The World of Avatar would be celebrating Christmas. And now that the holiday season has officially begun at Animal Kingdom, we love seeing Pandora all gussied up for the most wonderful time of the year! Pongu Pongu Decor And while Satu’li Canteen is sporting some festive swags of garland over their outdoor seating area, they’re also cooking up a special seasonal treat just for the holidays! Check out the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse that’s just soared into Pandora! Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse The seasonal dessert features a pumpkin cream cheese mousse dome and is presented beautifully with chocolate cookie crumbles, pumpkin sauce, and cranberry boba pearls! Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse If you were fortunate enough to dine at Satu’li Canteen last Thanksgiving, you may recognize the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse — it was only available for one day as part of the Thanksgiving meal prepared by the Na’vi! Now it’s returned — and with a much larger window of time to enjoy! Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse The Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse evokes the same style of the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse — Satu’li Canteen’s signature dessert offering. No worries, though if you’re a fan of the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse — it’s still available, but now you have TWO mousses to choose from! Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse So what did WE think? This one was REALLY creamy. We didn’t really taste the cream cheese tanginess, though, because the dessert was heavy on the pumpkin spice! The little green “stem” on top was meringue, which was a nice surprise — we just wish there had been more of it somewhere! And as for the boba pearls, we didn’t get the cranberry flavor at all. They tasted more like pomegranate to us, so not really sure what was going on with that. But altogether, the dessert tasted pretty great! Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse You can find the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse at Animal Kingdom’s Satu’li Canteen for $5.49. And don’t forget to swing by Dino Bites to try our favorite holiday snack of the season — the Peppermint Ice Cream Sandwich! What do you think of Pandora’s first Christmas celebration this year?
