Docking Bay 7 has seen a bunch of menu changes in the past few weeks.

From the addition of a plant-based “meat” marinara for kids to the removal of the Star Wars-ified names on the menus, it’s pretty difficult to keep up with all of the menu modifications at the popular Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge quick service. Well, fans of the immersive names can celebrate because they’re back… sort of.

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is a staple for eats in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. That’s probably why there have been a few changes as Disney looks to get the menu just right. We were bummed a few weeks ago to see the Star Wars names like Fried Endorian Tip-Yip exchanged for the more understandable but MUCH less exciting “Fried Chicken.” Boooooriiiiing!

Well now, it looks like Docking Bay 7 has reached a compromise between easy, understandable names and fun Star Wars flavor. We’ve seen an update to the menu today that features a sort of hybrid new naming. Now, you can order Endorian Fried Chicken Tip-Yip or Batuuan Beef Pork Roast.

Understandable AND immersive! This is a menu change we can get behind. Even the kids’ menu items got the change with the “Meat” Marinara now being called Peka Pasta Rings Youngling Meal.

Another change in this round of Docking Bay 7 updates is the move of the “Meat” Marinara from the kids’ menu section to the plant-based section of the menu alongside the hummus dish.

AND it looks like they’ve tucked in a new alcoholic beverage called the Surly Sarlacc. This should look relatively familiar to those who’ve tried the Sour Sarlacc over at Ronto Roasters. It’s the same base for the drink — limeade with raspberry and spicy mango flavors — but with the addition of Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit and Rose Vodka. Yum! This option is $13, making it $2 cheaper than the Takodana Quencher.

Maybe this will be the last round of changes to the Docking Bay 7 menu for a while, but if it isn’t we’ll be sure to keep you updated! Docking Bay 7 has been keeping us on our toes recently!
