From plastic cheese to charcuterie boards…we love it all! But, one of our faves just so happens to be mac & cheese! And, this new Halloween offering in Disney World is putting a spooky twist on the classic snack!

The Pumpkin Chipotle Mac & Cheese over at the Mac & Cheese Food Truck in Disney Springs is borrowing some worms from Mister Oogie Boogie for the latest dish.

The cavatappi pasta mac & cheese is topped with a pumpkin cheese sauce, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, and gummy worms (spooky!).

While we usually looove some good mac, we really weren’t feeling this particular twist. The burst of tartness from the cranberries didn’t mix well with all the cheese. Even though the pumpkin seeds added a little crunch to the snack, the texture from the gummy worms was way too sticky. Also, the flavor wasn’t sweet and almost tasted bitter. 🙁

If you’re looking for great mac & cheese, we highly recommend grabbing one of the other menu items from the Mac & Cheese Food Truck. Or, you can even pop over to Springs’ Street Tacos to try their new Halloween offering, the Chicken Adobo Nachos!
