They’ve just reported that a person infected with measles was at Disneyland just over one week ago, and guests who were also visiting that day may have been unknowingly exposed.

The measles exposure advisory that was issued stated the infected person visited Disneyland on October 16th and guests who were at the park that day may have been exposed to the virus. Symptoms of the infection could develop up to 21 days from initial exposure.

Health officials went on to report the infected guest was at Disneyland park from 9:15 AM and 8:35 PM on Wednesday, October 16th. In addition to this confirmed case of measles exposure, a person infected with measles also visited a Palms-area Starbucks coffee shop at 3006 S. Sepulveda Blvd. in Los Angeles between 7:50 and 10 AM on Wednesday, October 16.

If you were at either of these places and are concerned you may have been exposed, you should contact your healthcare provider for immediate assistance. If you have not been immunized, the CDC urges everyone to get their measles shot to prevent the spread of this virus.
