Disney4me
As we reported to you earlier, Disney World has removed several of the Star Wars-themed names from its menu lunch and dinner items at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. Docking Bay 7 Breakfast Menu And while the names on Docking Bay 7’s breakfast menu were also altered, the items still have Star Wars-themed titles unlike their lunch and dinner counterparts — weird, right? We also noticed some changes to the price and ingredients listed for Docking Bay 7’s Tuggs’ Overnight Oats — formerly known as Rising Moons Overnight Oats! So of course, we had to snag them to see what they now look like, and more importantly, taste like! Rising Moons Overnight Oats have been offered at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios back in August of this year. The description formerly listed oats, dragonfruit, yogurt, and seasonal fruit for $7, but now the classic Batuu breakfast offering has been renamed Tuggs’ Overnight Oats, and the ingredients are now listed as overnight oats, mango smoothie, and mixed fruit! Docking Bay 7 Menu Read our entire Docking Bay 7 breakfast review here! So yeah, a little different! But what’s most notably changed is Docking Bay 7’s presentation of the overnight oats! Here’s how the new, pricer version looks — yup, if you want to fancy presentation, you’ll be shelling out $10.99 for Docking Bay 7’s fancy oats! Tuggs’ Overnight Oats What’s that thing chilling out in the top corner? It’s the new mango smoothie that comes on the side of Docking Bay 7’s oats! And it actually tastes surprisingly good! Super fresh and delicious on the side with the oats — our only complaint is that it’s a very small portion — only a couple gulps of smoothie and then it’s gone! Tuggs’ Overnight Oats And you’ve also probably noticed that the fresh fruit is now served as a side fruit salad on Docking Bay 7’s oats instead of all piled up in a cup like oats previously were. And just in case you were wondering, these cheaper oats are currently still available at Ronto Roasters and Oga’s Cantina. We like how you can stir the fruit into the oats with Docking Bay 7’s oats, or just enjoy it by itself! The fruit selection looks like a pretty small portion, too. The dragonfruit, blackberries, and blueberries have remained. And while ours didn’t have any kiwi, it did have some honeydew, cantaloupe, and star fruit. Tuggs’ Overnight Oats The Tuggs’ Overnight Oats still comes topped with the same berry-flavored mixture of boba pearls and sauce. The oats were a little juicer than we remembered and it seemed to us like they’d added more liquid to them. We didn’t necessarily like how the extra sauces gave the oats a looser texture, but they were super-flavorful! Tuggs’ Overnight Oats Here’s how it looked when we stirred ’em all up! They’re served nice and cold which makes them very refreshing on a hot day on Batuu! Tuggs’ Overnight Oats We think the Tuggs’ Overnight Oats would be a great lighter breakfast option if you didn’t have time to grab a bite before heading off to the Black Spire Outpost! And remember, you can still snag the more portable (and cheaper!) version of the oats at Ronto Roasters and Oga’s Cantina! Ronto Roasters Menu Check out our full review of the cup-version of the Overnight Oats here. The new Tuggs’ Overnight Oats cost $10.99 at Docking Bay 7 and may be worth the premium cost for its presentation, but its kinda a lot of money for not a lot of food, in our opinion. For the money and convenience, you may prefer grabbing your oats in a to-go cup from Ronto Roasters or Oga’s Cantina instead!
