Disney4me
Hey, folks! We’re back with another roundup of What’s New at Disney’s Art of Animation and Pop Century Resorts! POP Century! This is where we take you on a virtual walk around Disney World to spot all the latest food, construction, and merch we’ve spotted this week! With all that’s been “poppin” at these two happenin’ Disney World Resorts, there’s much to discuss, so let’s get started! Construction Updates at Disney’s Pop Century Resort We noticed a few “No Parking” signs at the security point as we made our approach to Disney’s Pop Century. Since Disney’s Skyliner opened, lots of parkgoers have been parking at Pop Century and Art of Animation, limiting the number of spots that are available to the guests staying at either of the resorts. We noticed these signs were at Disney’s Art of Animation, as well! No Parking Sign We also spotted this cute Painting with a Pop! activity that Disney’s Pop Century will be hosting on October 25th. Guests will have the opportunity to create their very own spooky masterpiece of Cinderella’s Castle and lots of playful-looking pumpkins! Painting Activity Sign The event costs $35 per person and will take place from 1 PM-3 PM in the Everything Pop Food Court! Food Updates at Disney’s Pop Century Resort Next, we’re hitting up the food court to see what changes we can spot at Everything Pop! Everything Pop Everything Pop We noticed they’ve swapped out their previous Vegetable Sandwich for a Roasted Vegetable Sandwich and have added Plant-based Waffles to their menu! Thankfully our beloved Turkey Sandwich is still being offered! Everything POP! Menu Also, the Plant-based Burger now says Plant-based BBQ Burger. Everything Pop We could really go for one of those right about now — or their Classic Cheeseburger which comes with a tasty garlic aioli! Petals Pool Bar Time to dip our toes in the Hippy Dippy Pool and see what’s shakin’ over at Petals! Petals Pool Bar It looks like Copa Di Vino has replaced the bar’s former Woodbridge wine offerings, but everything else appears to be unchanged! We wonder if the Art of Animation’s pool bar has also made the switch! Petals Menu Let’s head over to Disney’s Art of Animation now, and see what they’ve been up to! Construction Update at Art of Animation Resort We spotted even more new signage (but Disney’s Art of Animation sign is still the best!) Art of Animation Resort We did thoroughly enjoy seeing this “sometimes Skyliners breakdown” sign near the Skyliner Station bathroom, though! Skyliner Sign After the Skyliner collision occurred on October 5th, we can see how Disney would want to keep guests from worrying if their gondola pauses momentarily! Merchandise Update at Disney’s Art of Animation We spotted this super sweet new Mickey and Minnie Kissing Hoodie at Art of Animation’s Ink and Paint Shop! Its distressed look would look great with a pair of jeans…or leggings, if we’re being honest! Mickey and Minnie Kissing Hoodie And check out the adorable pink Walt Disney World sleeve detail! We can’t wait to wear this to the parks on a chilly night with our sweeties! Minnie and Mickey Kissing Hoodie The Minnie and Mickey Hoodie can be yours for $49.99! Food Update at Disney’s Art of Animation All that shopping really worked up our appetites! Time to hit up Landscape of Flavors! Landscape of Flavors We love the Art of Animation’s food court which features backgrounds of some of our favorite Disney and Pixar movies — as well as some tasty bites! Landscape of Flavors Dining Room Landscape of Flavors has removed from its gelato and coffee counter the Super Green Energy Juice, Smoothie Bowl, Strawberry Banana Smoothie, and Italian Float! Landscape of Flavors Menu The menu is looking pretty bare over there, so hopefully, they’ll have more options soon! We also noticed the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars had been removed from the menu, but a Cast Member confirmed that they’re still available! We also saw that Landscapes of Flavors had removed the Asian Chicken Bowl from its salad and sandwich section… Landscape of Flavors Menu …while they’ve changed the Veggie Seitan Scramble to a Chipotle Seitan Scramble. Don’t worry — it appears only the name has changed, and not the actual item! Landscape of Flavors Menu Plus it appears the Plant-based Burger is now called going by “Cheddar” Brioche Burger. Again, it appears the dish has remained the same and only the moniker is different. Landscape of Flavors Menu That’s it for Landspace of Flavors! Time to head off to the Art of Animation’s pool bar — The Dropoff! The Dropoff Our suspicions were confirmed that just as Petals had changed from serving a selection of Woodbridge wines, The Dropoff was also now selling Copa Di Vino! Drop Off Menu We also noticed they now have soft serve ice cream including chocolate, vanilla or swirl! Good to know after taking a dip in the Big Blue Pool! Drop Off Well, friends, that’s all for this edition of What’s New at Disney’s Art of Animation and Pop Century Resorts — until next time! We’ll be back soon with more construction, merchandise, and food updates for ya real soon! Will you be staying at Disney’s Art of Animation or Pop Century anytime soon?
