Disney4me
Who said a tale as old as time can’t involve two pups in love? ©Disney While we’ve been waiting for the release of Disney+ ever since we got the deets at the D23 panel, we’re doggone THRILLED to have a sneak peek at one of the shows coming to the streaming service soon! The Lady and the Tramp trailer is making its paw-some debut! ©Disney The new movie will re-tell the story of the 1955 animated film, but update it to a live-action version, complete with REAL DOGS (!!!). ©Disney In case you don’t remember the 1955 film Lady and the Tramp (and need to re-watch it ASAP), we’ve got a little recap for ya before the Disney+ movie! Lady lives a perfectly content life in an upscale neighborhood with her owners, Jim Dear and Darling. Lady spends most of her free time with her neighbors, Jock and Trusty, when she isn’t being pampered by her owners. ©Disney However, her life takes a turn when a baby enters the lives of Jim Dear and Darling, and Aunt Sarah comes to visit with her mischievous cats. After a series of unfortunate events, Lady ends up in the opposite side of town, where Tramp rescues her and teaches her about a new side of life. The couple starts to fall in love over a plate of spaghetti (ahhh, what a lovely bella notte) before Lady misses her family. Lady and Tramp then have to decide whether they will start a new life together or part ways as unlikely lovers. ©Disney Premiering on November 12th, Lady and the Tramp stars Tessa Thompson as Lady, Justin Theroux as Tramp, Janelle Monáe as Peg, Sam Elliott as Trusty, Thomas Mann as Jim Dear, Kiersey Clemons as Darling, and Yvette Nicole Brown as Aunt Sarah. ©Disney You can watch the trailer for Lady and the Tramp here!
