There are SO many new items catching a wave over to Disney World right now!

Welcome to the Polynesian Village Resort!

From the “Cowboy” Sundae at Whispering Canyon to the Sardinian Pasta at Flying Fish, you can have something exciting for every meal of the day! And, over at the Polynesian Village Resort, two fresh options are also calling our names!

The Mahi BLT and Beef Pho are steaming over at the Kona Cafe! (Sounds delicious, right?!)

The pan-fried mahi-mahi comes with oven-dried tomato, arugula, bacon, butter croutons, new potato, soy velouté, and wasabi caviar.

Mahi BLT

The Mahi BLT is more deconstructed with the bacon, lettuce, and tomato simply topping the fish. While the mahi-mahi had an incredible mildly sweet flavor, the BLT felt a bit misplaced like they were just accidentally put there. While we would have loved an actual Mahi BLT sandwich, we think that the mahi-mahi itself would have been better with an actual side salad to go along with the potatoes.

The Beef Pho comes with garlic shiitake noodles and pho broth (which just sounds super yummy).

Beef Pho

Seriously, you guys. You’ll want to pho sho’ head to Kona to get this. The broth and beef were amazing on their own, but the noodles reminded us of the ones at ‘Ohana… But, somehow better?? The pho was very savory and delicious, leaving us full and satisfied after finishing it.

Beef Pho

You can get the Mahi BLT for $28 and the Beef Pho for $24 at Kona Cafe! Just make sure to tell your servers “mahalo” for the meals! While you’re over at the Polynesian, maybe check out the ‘Ohana secret menu at the Tambu Lounge (with MORE noodles for $5!!!) too!
