Disney4me Posted October 1, 2019 Report Share Posted October 1, 2019 Remember when we announced that automated cameras had replaced PhotoPass Cast Members at select locations around Walt Disney World? Mickey Meet and Greet Well, the story may be changing a bit as we spotted a PhotoPass photographer at Mickey’s meet-and-greet in Magic Kingdom today. As part of Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration, Mickey and Minnie were meeting together at Town Square Theatre. Mickey Meet and Greet Now, Minnie has returned to Storybook Circus and Mickey is meeting once again in his magicians’ costume. When visiting him today, we noticed that the automated cameras were not in use and that a PhotoPass Cast Member was taking the photos. PhotoPass!!! Many guests were very upset with Disney’s decision to use automated cameras and a petition was started to bring back the PhotoPass Cast Member. You can read more about this here! Mickey Meet and Greet The automated cameras have NOT been removed from the room and there is no word on if the return of a PhotoPass Cast Member is a permanent change.
