Cinderella Castle Today, we’ve got several construction and merchandise updates to chat about, so let’s get started! Epcot Construction Update Entrance Let’s kick things off around the park entrance, where a LOT of construction work is taking place. Magic Kingdom Entrance Construction The Walk Around the World bricks were still stacked behind a construction wall, and they were also working on repaving the area. Magic Kingdom Entrance Construction Tomorrowland Construction is also underway in Tomorrowland, which will be home to the highly-anticipated TRON Lightcycle Run coaster! TRON Lightcycle Run Construction The coaster, which will be like the TRON Lightcycle Power Run in Shanghai, is slated to open in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebrations in 2021. (Can’t 2021 hurry up and get here??) Magic Kingdom Entrance Construction Learn more about TRON Lightcycle Run here! A while back, we had reported that Tomorrowland’s Astro Orbiter was temporarily closed. During our most recent visit to the Kingdom, we saw that it was open once again! According to a Cast Member, the closure was just for routine maintenance. Astro Orbiter Sign Epcot Merchandise Update Uptown Jewelers An adorable it’s a small world tote has cruised into Uptown Jewelers for $84! The tote is designed by Danielle Nicole and is covered with patches and phrases just like the ones you’ll see at the end of the classic Disney ride. Memento Mori A Madame Leota-themed perfume has made a spooktacular appearance in Memento Mori! The Emporium Over in The Emporium, we spotted a Jack Skellington Haunted Mansion phone case ($29.99) we hadn’t seen before! Jack Skellington iPhone Case Before we say goodbye, we want to note that banners and signage were still up at Mickey and Minnie’s Celebration Central, but the book for signing was no longer there.
