Disney4me
It’s safe to say the DFB team is SO READY to take a spin on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Epcot’s highly-anticipated rollercoaster. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Concept Art ©Disney We recently shared the attraction’s name and plotline, and last year, we showed you guys concept art for the attraction’s ride vehicles, but now Disney has given us a FIRST LOOK at the vehicles themselves. Each ride vehicle consists of two rows of two seats, and they are bright blue, with accents of gold, silver, and pink. And as you can see in Disney’s video below, “each individual cab in the attraction’s OmniCoaster ride system will direct your eyes to the story happening around you.” We’re really curious to check them out! ©Disney As we shared before, Cosmic Rewind will begin with guests entering the “galaxarium” where they will then board a Nova ship to see the earth from space. But when the Guardians of the Galaxy show up, things take a slightly different turn — presumably several fast, energetic turns! Guardians of the Galaxy Ride Concept Art ©Disney Based on what we know so far, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind may be in a class of its own. It is, in fact, because it will feature the first-ever “reverse launch into space”! Totally epic, right? Check out Disney’s video below for a further look at the upcoming attraction! It is slated to open in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebrations in 2021. What do you think about Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind’s snazzy ride vehicles?
