Disney4me
Hello there, world travelers! Welcome to our latest roundup of What’s New in Epcot! Spaceship Earth We’ve got a lot to cover today — including Arendelle Aqua merch and treats — so let’s dive right in! Epcot Food Update Future World In case you missed it, Disney has revealed its newest color trend collection — Arendelle Aqua — and treats and merchandise items have started to appear in Epcot! At Sunshine Seasons, the new Arendelle Aqua Pearl Cupcake was available in addition to the Seasonal Vegan Cupcake. Sunshine Seasons Bakery Case We, of course, had to try the Arendelle Aqua Pearl Cupcake! This cupcake is a bit similar in look and in taste to the popular Rose Gold Cupcake and consists of yellow cake, Nutella filling, a mountain of vanilla buttercream, and a fondant bow and ears. Arendelle Aqua Pearl Cupcake While we enjoyed the cake, filling, and frosting, we were not fans of the fondant bow and ears (but who cares when they look so cute??). You can grab this cupcake from Sunshine Seasons for $5.49 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit! Arendelle Aqua Pearl Cupcake Read our full review of the Arendelle Aqua Pearl Cupcake here! Also debuting at Sunshine Seasons in celebration of the new color trend is Arendelle Aqua Frozen Lemonade! A member of our extended DFB family got to try the lemonade during the V.I.PASSHOLDER event in Epcot, but it should be available by the time the new collection officially drops on Friday, September 13th. Arendelle Aqua Frozen Lemonade We actually chose to add Bacardi Raspberry Rum to our lemonade, which features Monin Cotton Candy Syrup. This slush was super refreshing, tart, and super photogenic to boot! Arendelle Aqua Frozen Lemonade While you can get the non-alcoholic Arendelle Aqua Frozen Lemonade for $6.49 (or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit), our boozy version was $11.25. Read our full review of boozy Arendelle Aqua Frozen Lemonade here! World Showcase Continuing our Arendelle Aqua adventure in World Showcase, the Arendelle Aqua Victoria Sponge Cake was available during our latest visit. Note that they didn’t have any special signage out for this treat yet, so you may need to ask for it. Arendelle Aqua Victoria Sponge Cake The Arendelle Aqua Victoria Spongecake is a classic sponge cake with a bit of Arendelle Aqua-colored icing. We LOVED the light and airy texture of the cake. The icing was a little too sweet for us but we enjoyed the addition of strawberry jam inside. Arendelle Aqua Victoria Sponge Cake You can find the Arendelle Aqua Victoria Sponge Cake at Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK Pavilion in Epcot for $4.29. Read our full review of the Arendelle Aqua Victoria Sponge Cake here! Over in the Norway Pavilion, we stumbled upon the Frozen Arendelle Aqua Lemonade at Norway’s Beer Cart. While this drink wasn’t available to the public yet, a member of our team tried it during the V.I.PASSHOLDER event. Frozen Arendelle Aqua Lemonade The frozen lemonade is mixed with passion fruit and pineapple, and spoiler alert — it’s amazing! The tart lemonade balances the passion fruit and pineapple flavors, blending them all together in a slightly sweet, but definitely mouth-puckering taste. If you like tart frozen drinks, you’ll want to take a sip of the Frozen Arendelle Aqua Lemonade! Frozen Arendelle Aqua Lemonade You should be able to grab this Frozen-inspired drink for $5.25 once the Arendelle Aqua collection officially launches on Friday, September 13th.
