Disney4me
Hello fellow foodies! Did you know that there are a few really good NEW dining experiences at both Disney World and Disneyland Resort? Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet When we find a build-your-own sundae bar and churros that make our mouths water just by looking at them, we had the share the news! So, follow along as we share four of our favorite new Disney dining experiences! Restaurantosaurus Burger and Build-Your-Own Sundae Dinner Experience A brand NEW type of dining experience has made its way to Restaurantosaurus in Animal Kingdom and honestly, we were SUPER impressed. Restaurantosaurus has been a basic quick-service location for a while now, serving cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets, etc. We loved it, but mostly for the fun, unique themeing. The food was fine, but not destination-worthy. Restaurantosaurus That is until they introduced their new burger and build-you-own-sundae dining experience. Now, guests can book a reservation for the experience, and select an entrée, side dish, and build their own sundae for one set price! Intrigued? So were we. The entrée choices include gourmet burgers, a chicken sandwich, a veggie burger, and a salad. The side options are a choice between fries or onion rings served with a house-made dipping sauce. The meal also includes a non-alcoholic drink. Sunny-Side Up Burger We were BLOWN away by the experience. The Cast Members filled our evening with magical moments, and the food was WAY better than we even expected. Our burgers were excellent and we loved the options we had to choose from. Chili Cheese Corn Chips Burger And for $22.99 plus tax for adults and $14.99 plus tax for children ages 3-9, or one Quick-Service credit (!!!!) for guests on the Disney Dining Plan, we thought the experience was well worth the money. Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet at Disney Springs Another new dining experience has made its way to Disney Springs. But warning, you’re going to need a SWEET TOOTH for this one. Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet is a brand new food truck located on the west side of Disney Springs. Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet Menu Items This new trendy food truck serves all things cookie dough! From, cookie dough parfaits to cookie dough tacos, there is SO much to choose from. Though some of it was a little TOO sweet for our liking, the flavors were yummy and fun and this is sure to be a fan-favorite with the little ones in the group. Springs Candy Taco Our favorite thing to munch on is the Celebration Parfait! It has layers of Celebration Cookie Dough and Celebration Mickey Cake. Then it’s topped with vanilla custard, strawberries, sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry. Talk about a delicious sugar rush! Celebration Parfait You can read our full Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet review here! Sunshine Churro Kiosks at Disney Springs And speaking of Disney Springs, Sunshine Churro Kiosks have also made their way to Disney Springs. There are TWO locations! One is in the Marketplace and the other is on the West Side of Disney Springs. Sunshine Churros Like the locations at Downtown Disney in Disneyland, these new kiosks serve gourmet and classic churros. The menu features seven specialty churros — Traditional Cinnamon, Watermelon, Apple Cinnamon, Fruity Pebbles, Salted Caramel, Cherry Limeade, and Peach-Mango. These are $5.25 each. They also have two gourmet churros — Strawberry Cheesecake and Oreo for $6.25. You can also add a Nutella or Dulce de Leche dip for $1 more! Sunshine Churros We ADORED the Cherry Limeade and Peach Mango Churros because they offered delicious and unique flavors. Peach Mango Churro We really think this is a GREAT new addition to Disney Springs that you should place on your must-try list. You can view our full Sunshine Churro review here! Lucky Fortune Cookery An ENTIRELY NEW menu has made its way to Lucky Fortune Cookery. We have loved this often-overlooked location for a long time and are so happy to see it getting the love it deserves! This Quick-Service location can be found in the Pacific Wharf area of Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort. Teriyaki Chicken Lucky Fortune Cookery has said bye-bye to their take out boxes and are now serving their food on black plates. And their new menu is off the freakin’ charts as you can now get Teriyaki Chicken, Szechuan Chicken, a Beef Bulgogi Wrap, Vegan Banh Mi, and Pork Ramen. The new side options include Chicken Wings, Pot Stickers, and Ramen Toppings!! Pot Stickers We LOVED the Teriyaki Chicken and the Szechuan Chicken. Both were VERY fresh and offered great flavors! The Teriyaki Chicken gave us the classic flavors we love, while the Szechuan Chicken packed a bit more punch thanks to its spicy flavor notes. Szechuan Chicken You can read our full Lucky Fortune Cookery review here!! We cannot get over these new dining experiences at both Disney World and Disneyland!
