Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Cookbook

If you can’t make it to Galaxy’s Edge’s Black Spire Outpost to taste the Yobshrimp Noodle Salad at Docking Bay 7, or you can’t wait until the cookbook is released on November 5th, we’ve got the recipe so you can make it at home!

If you’re craving lighter fare than the Fried Tip-Yip then look no further, galactic travelers! Yobshrimp look strikingly similar to Earth’s shrimp, but these creatures come from the depths of planet Naboo. If you don’t have a good supplier of Yobshrimp, any fresh or frozen shrimp from your local store will sub in nicely.

This cold noodle salad is relatively simple to prepare. The shrimp and some veggies including thinly sliced carrots, red onion, wood ear mushrooms, and red bell pepper, are tossed in a tangy vinaigrette to give you an authentic taste of Naboo! Don’t be scared off by the xanthan gum in the vinaigrette — this ingredient may sound off-world, but it’s actually a naturally based thickener found in many foods. You can find it in many grocery stores. Chill this noodle salad and enjoy!
