Disney4me
Disney World is no stranger to introducing over-the-top treats that have price tags to match. And while some of the fancy and $$$$$$ eats are totally NOT worth the cost, there are a few that for sure ARE! Strawberry Bubble Waffle Let’s look at our most recent list of totally ridiculous Disney World snacks that are entirely worth the cash dollas… . 1. Minnie Milk Shake from The Plaza Restaurant If you’re looking for a strawberry ice cream treat during your Magic Kingdom day, head straight to The Plaza Restaurant and try the Minnie Milk Shake. This shake is a recent addition to The Plaza’s menu, and we HAD to try it as soon as we saw it. Minnie Milk Shake This is a strawberry milkshake topped with a strawberry glazed donut, chocolate cookies, a chocolate Minnie bow, a strawberry ice cream cone, and whipped cream. There’s a LOT going on with this shake but in the best way. Minnie Milk Shake When we tried this shake, the ice cream was delicious and the toppings held up very well. We thoroughly enjoyed the blended flavors from the chocolate cookies and strawberry ice cream. Minnie Milk Shake The $14 price tag may seem a bit steep for a shake, but it is totally shareable between two or even three people. We’re not sure how long the Minnie Milk Shake will stick around, so be sure to try it when you’re in Magic Kingdom! Read our full review of the Minnie Milk Shake here! 2. Celebration Parfait from Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet In case you missed it, Disney Springs’ West Side has welcomed a NEW food truck — Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet. Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet We tried every featured menu item, and our favorite was the Celebration Parfait! This treat includes layers of Celebration Cookie Dough and Celebration Mickey Cake (which tasted like Funfetti cake), vanilla custard, strawberries, sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry. Celebration Parfait This colorful treat was delicious! The balance of the custard, strawberries, and cookie dough was great, and while it was sweet, it wasn’t, like, tooth-pain kind of sweet ;-D. Celebration Parfait You can grab the Celebration Parfait for $8 in Disney Springs. You can’t use a Disney Dining Plan snack credit on it, but we still think it’s worth the out-out-pocket cost. Celebration Parfait Read our first look and full review of Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet here! 3. Bubble Waffles from AristoCrepes You’ll also find the totally epic Bubble Waffles in Disney Springs! AristoCrepes not only serves up sweet and savory crepes, but they offer Strawberry and Caramel Bubble Waffles as well. AristoCrepes sign The Strawberry Bubble Waffle is filled to the brim with vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and strawberry pearls for a unique sundae-on-the-go! Strawberry Bubble Waffle The Salted Caramel Bubble Waffle is filled with chocolate ice cream, chocolate-covered pretzel pieces, crispy pearls, caramel sauce, and more of that vanilla bean whipped cream. Salted Caramel Bubble Waffle Either choice is delicious, but our personal favorite is the Salted Caramel. Each Bubble Waffle costs $8.99 and is not snack-credit eligible. But, these are easily shareable and super filling. And remember — you can even get your Bubble Waffle IN A TROPHY! Strawberry Bubble Waffle Trophy If you want to try one of these REDONK treats, it’s important to note that AristoCrepes doesn’t open until 4 PM on weekdays and 12 PM on weekends. But we could never say no to one of these Bubble Waffles, no matter the time of day. Read our full review of AristoCrepes’ Bubble Waffles here! 4. No Way José Sundae from Beaches & Cream You can find several over-the-top treats at Beaches & Cream (like the Kitchen Sink), but one of our longtime favorites is the No Way José Sundae. No Way José Sundae The base of this sundae is chocolate and vanilla ice cream. It’s doused with hot fudge and peanut butter sauce (give us allll the sauce) and topped with whipped cream, chocolate and peanut butter morsels, and a cherry. No Way José Sundae This sundae has been around a long time and NEVER disappoints. The No Way José is completely worth its $11 price. Check out our full review of Beaches & Cream here! 5. Topped Macaroni & Cheese from Eight Spoon Cafe If you’ve been waiting for us to mention a snack credit-eligible item, you’re in luck! At Eight Spoon Cafe in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you’ll find a pair of topped macaroni & cheese options. Eight Spoon Cafe Kiosk You can either get your mac topped with shrimp and sweet chili sauce or you can get it loaded with pulled pork. (You can also get plain Macaroni & cheese as well, but we prefer the topped options.) Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork Macaroni & Cheese with Shrimp We absolutely love the shrimp and pulled pork macaroni & cheese whenever we order them — they are both flavorful and delicious. You can get them for $6.69 and $6.49, respectively. Both are EXCELLENT uses of a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. Read our full review of Eight Spoon Cafe’s macaroni & cheese here! 6. Beef Brisket Poutine from Refreshment Port At Epcot’s Refreshment Port, you can grab Beef Brisket Poutine for $8.99.
