Woah, what a whirlwind of exciting news we’ve already shared thanks to the D23 Expo 2019.

We’ve learned about an all-new Moana attraction, the names of the Star Wars Hotel in Disney World and Marvel Land in Disneyland Resort. Disney also shared costumes and ride vehicles for the new TRON Lightcycle Run coming to Magic Kingdom — which you can check out here!

Now, hop on board as we explore the costumes and the ride vehicle for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway coming to Hollywood Studios in Spring 2020 and Disneyland in 2022.

We were able to get an even closer look at the costumes thanks to our DFB friend Carlye (@carlyewisel on Twitter).

The costumes are very bright and colorful. The green vest looks a lot like something a train conductor would wear, which makes sense since guests will be riding on a train through the attraction. Cast Members will wear black slacks and will even have the option to wear a hat if they’d like!

Speaking of trains, let’s go full steam ahead and check out the ride vehicle for this new attraction.

As you can see, guests will sit towards the front of a very cartoon-like train. The seating area reminds us of the ride vehicle from the Great Movie Ride with a train placed on the front.

We’re excited to be a part of a Disney cartoon as we experience the world of Mickey, Minnie, and the entire gang. You can read more about this attraction inspired by “the cadence and comedy” of the new Mickey and Minnie cartoon shorts here!
