Disney4me
Disney World’s newest dining location is officially open! Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet The Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet food truck opened in Disney Springs’ West Side today, and we’re bringing you a first look and full review of the new dining location. Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet As we mentioned before, the food truck is located in Disney Springs’ West Side (it replaced the Fantasy Fare food truck). The truck itself is a vibrant red with cheerful turquoise and white accents. Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet The menu features five primary treats and cups or cones of cookie dough. The cookie dough flavors are Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter & Fluff, Cookies ‘n Cream Cold Brew, Celebration, and Candy Monster. If you’re looking for a vegan flavor, you’ll want to check out the Celebration and Cookies ‘n Cream Cold Brew. Unfortunately, none of the flavors are gluten-free. Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet Menu For the purposes of this review, we’re going to talk about the five main treats — the Springs Candy Taco, the Minnie Dessert Taco, the Cold Brew Cookie Dough Sundae, the Celebration Parfait, and the Mickey (or Minnie) Funnel Cake. Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet Menu Items Let’s get started! Eats First, we tried the Springs Candy Taco, which consists of Monster Cookie Dough, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry. Springs Candy Taco Personally, we didn’t enjoy this one as much as the other items. The Monster Cookie Dough is supposed to taste like sugar cookies, but it tasted more like brownies to us. But, thanks to the fun colors and chocolate taste, kiddos will probably love it! Springs Candy Taco You can grab the Springs Candy Taco for $6 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. Next, we grabbed the Minnie Dessert Taco, which features Peanut Butter and Fluff Cookie Dough, caramel sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry. A Minnie Bow acts as the finishing touch! Minnie Dessert Taco This treat melted super fast when we tried it, but it’s a great option for peanut butter lovers! We thought the caramel sauce paired well with the peanut butter, and it was a nice change from all the peanut butter and chocolate treats in Disney World. Minnie Dessert Taco This Minnie Dessert Taco costs $7 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit (and a great value, at that!). We also tried the Cold Brew Cookie Dough Sundae. It’s made with Cookies ‘n Cream Cold Brew Cookie Dough, chocolate cookies, chocolate sauce, and a mini funnel cake. Cold Brew Cookie Dough Sundae If you love coffee, you will most like enjoy this sundae! We loved the mini funnel cake and the chocolate cookies, and the presentation was adorable. The sundae is almost all cookie dough aside from the toppings and funnel cake pieces tucked inside the bottom of the cup. Cold Brew Cookie Dough Sundae You can get the Cold Brew Cookie Dough Sundae for $8 — unfortunately, it (like the other $8+ treats in this review) is not snack-credit eligible. Cold Brew Cookie Dough Sundae Next, we tried the Celebration Parfait for $8. This one features layers of Celebration Cookie Dough and Celebration Mickey Cake, vanilla custard, strawberries, sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry. Celebration Parfait This was our favorite thing we tried! The balance of the custard, strawberries, and cookie dough was wonderful. It was sweet, but not sickeningly sweet. Celebration Parfait The Celebration Mickey Cake looked and tasted like funfetti cake, and we really enjoyed it! Celebration Parfait Lastly, we grabbed the Mickey Funnel Cake for $10. The funnel cake is topped with powdered sugar and Mickey-shaped Chocolate-Chip Cookie Dough. We had the choice between a Mickey or Minnie funnel cake, and the Minnie version features a white chocolate bow on top. Mickey Funnel Cake We thought the Mickey Funnel Cake was super cute and great for sharing with a friend! The Chocolate-Chip Cookie Dough was extremely sweet but not grainy at all (none of them were grainy, in fact). If you love funnel cakes, you will most likely enjoy this treat! Mickey Funnel Cake Overall For the most part, we enjoyed our first visit to the Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet food truck! What makes this location unique is that you can get more than just a scoop of cookie dough. The Cast Members were very nice and (understandably) excited about the opening. Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet We’d personally still opt for ice cream or gelato on a hot Disney World day, but it’s definitely a fun and unique offering to try in Disney Springs. If you do happen to visit the location today, you can get a $2 discount on any specialty item! Which treat from Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet do you want to try first?
