If you’ve followed Disney Food Blog for a while, you probably know how much we love the Gourmet Popcorn Stand in Epcot’s Future World.

Well, friends, they have introduced a BRAND NEW Rainbow Popcorn and we couldn’t wait to check it out!

Now, when we were there, the Sour Cream and Chive flavor was still listed, but Rainbow Popcorn has taken its place for the time being.

The Rainbow Popcorn had more of a kettle corn texture, but it didn’t taste like kettle corn. The colored coating reminded us a bit of the icing from Festival of the Arts’ Paintbrush Churros — it looked pretty but had very little flavor. After several bites, the Popcorn tasted a bit like Froot Loops, but overall, it was very sticky and tasted like frosting.

Though it was very pretty, we personally prefer the regular flavors (Cheddar Cheese, Buffalo Bleu Cheese, and Sour Cream and Chive) from the Gourmet Popcorn Stand.

If you’d like to try the Rainbow Popcorn for yourself, you can do so for $6.00 outside the Imagination Pavilion. When we were there, we did not have the option to get it as a popcorn bucket refill. We’re not sure how long this will be available, so go ahead and grab it when you see it if you want to give it a try!

Are you going to try the Rainbow Popcorn when you’re in Epcot? Let us know in the comments!
