Disney4me Posted August 13, 2019 Report Share Posted August 13, 2019 Just yesterday we speculated that Bongos, the Cuban-inspired Disney Springs restaurant owned by iconic singer Gloria Estefan, would close next week, and today we have confirmation that, indeed, the restaurant will close on August 18th. Bongos Cuban Cafe Express The Orlando Sentinel cites Emily Clark of Lettuce Entertain You, who confirms that Bongos’ replacement will be Beatrix — which you can learn more about here! This will be Beatrix’s first location outside of Illinois. Its other locations offer breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled for the menu! Beatrix Menu Items ©Disney We first told readers of Beatrix’s impending arrival back in early August, but no opening date or season has been announced. When it does open, we expect Beatrix may offer a menu that includes lots of fresh produce, pressed juices, and an array of comfort foods done healthfully. We’re hungry already!
