NBA Experience So, we thought we’d explore the new experience together so you could see if you think it’s a slam dunk or a total air ball… Today, we had the opportunity to attend the grand opening and of course, Mickey and Minnie came out in style. NBA Experience A few NBA players, Bob Iger, Rachel Nicholas, and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver also attended the event. NBA Experience So now, let’s dribble up and down the court as we explore this new entertainment opportunity. Atmosphere The goal of the NBA Experience is to make you truly feel as if you were an NBA star. NBA Experience From the theming to the experiences, we really feel they have done well in this area! NBA Experience We did really feel like we were in the middle of a real NBA court. NBA Experience NBA Experience The NBA Experience is two stories — below is a photo of the map for the event! NBA Experience Now let’s dive into the experiences! Experiences Dribble! NBA Experience Dribble! At Dribble!, participants scan a card and an NBA player comes up on the screen and talks about how to dribble. NBA Experience Dribble! Each player receives a card once they purchase a ticket and guests will tap it at each experience to participate. NBA Experience Dribble! Dribble! will determine your accuracy and your score will be recorded for you when you leave and come back again. NBA Experience Dribble! There are five levels in this experience, and there are three different balls to choose from: youth, NBA, and WNBA. NBA Experience Dribble Draft NBA Experience Draft In Draft, you get to live out your draft fantasies by standing next to the NBA commissioner himself, Mr. Adam Silver. NBA Experience Draft Dunk! Dunk NBA Experience In Dunk!, you will find 1o courts and you will have 60 seconds to shoot as many hoops as you can. Dunk NBA Experience The height of the basket can be changed from 7-10 feet. Dunk NBA Experience You can also choose the size of your ball during this activity. You’ll also have the opportunity to snap a few fun dunk photos. Dunk NBA Experience Arcade NBA Experience Taking us back to our Disney Quest days, the NBA Experience also has an arcade. NBA Experience Here you will find shooting games and an area for the kiddos. NBA Experience There’s also a Slingshot activity that will allow you to shoot balls into hoops using well, a slingshot. NBA Experience Trivia Trivia NBA Experience The Trivia area allows you to test your NBA and WNBA knowledge through different games. Trivia NBA Experience How much NBA knowledge do you have? Trivia NBA Experience Shoot! Shoot NBA Experience Shoot! is meant to reenact the last 15 seconds of a basketball game. Shoot NBA Experience Lasers appear on the court and the guests attempt to make as many shots as they can in 15 seconds. A virtual crowd will cheer you on as the clock counts down. Shoot NBA Experience Replay Replay NBA Experience In Replay, you will have the opportunity to make the final call as if you were a Replay Official yourself. Replay NBA Experience Four plays are shown and guests will have the opportunity to say if the call is correct or should be overruled. Replay NBA Experience What call will you make?! Replay NBA Experience Champions Champions NBA Experience In the Champions area, you can take photos with trophies and you can look up championship stats and info for different NBA and WNBA teams. Champions NBA Experience Honestly, this room is pretty awesome and makes for a great photo opportunity, whether you like basketball or not! Champions NBA Experience You will tap your card to begin, pose with the trophy, and snap a photo. Easy peasy! Champions NBA Experience Combine Combine NBA Experience Combine is an interactive experience that allows you to measure your wingspan, the height in which you can jump, and your shot accuracy to allow you to see how you would measure up in a draft. Combine NBA Experience Combine NBA Experience Here, everyone’s a winner…even if you aren’t “drafted.” Combine NBA Experience Players Players NBA Experience Have you ever wanted to go into the locker room of a WBNA or NBA player? Well, now you can. Players NBA Experience I mean, I feel like a “baller, shot caller” in here, don’t you? Player NBA Experience Feel like you live as lavishly as the stars as you explore the locker room. Players NBA Experience We hope you enjoyed exploring the NBA Experience with us! Tickets will cost you $34 for guests ages 10+ and $29 for guests ages 3-9. If you’re looking to shop but don’t necessarily want to visit the experience, there is also an NBA Experience Store — which you can learn more about here. Overall, we think this will be a great place to visit as a family. There are a lot of opportunities to hang out and compete with each other, which we really enjoyed.
