Today, we’re going to be taking a trip over to the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts to catch up on all the construction, food, and entertainment happening. Let’s get started! Disney’s Yacht Club Resort What’s New at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Villas Beachcomer Wagon What’s that? There’s a review of the Goofy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake?! Goofy Peanut Butter Cupcake While we’d grown to love the Reese’s Pieces cupcake, the adorable Goofy chocolate cake and peanut butter buttercream (!!!) replacement is just so gawrsh darn good! Inside the Goofy Cupcake You can pick one up at the Beach Club Marketplace for $5.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. The little Goofy hat and ears make us want to say “ah-hyuck” and chuckle with joy! Goofy Cupcake Sign Speaking of updates, the Beach Club is getting a well-deserved upgrade! Beach Club Construction The first floor entrance is currently closed as it gets a little refresh. First Floor Closing Sign New fiber optic wiring is going in, which affects the fire alarms, and may affect data usage and internet connections according to the cast members we spoke with. First Floor Refurbishments Under Way! As always, there are lots of exciting activities going on around the Beach Club! Captain Hook’s Pirate Adventure allows kids ages 4-12 to go on a nightly quest for hidden treasure. Captain Hook’s Pirate Adventure Sign Located at the Seaside Retreat, you can become a part of Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew from 5- 8:30 PM! The Entrance to Your Quest in Neverland Board Your Pirate Ship at Seaside Retreat! Ahoy, mateys! Let’s embark on our treasure hunt around the Beach Club together! Official Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew Certificate Speaking of hidden treasure… Beach Club Marketplace … Don’t forget there is a Pin Trading Board and a Daily Trivia Board in the Beach Club Marketplace! Pin Trading Board Hey, pssst! You there! Do you know the answers? Disney Trivia Board Ready to learn to paint like Rapunzel? Martha’s Vineyard Painting Class Martha’s Vineyard Lounge is still offering a $35 painting class for guests ages 12 and older at 4:30 PM on Fridays! A new sign featuring Mickey and friends was posted for July! What do you think you’ll paint? New Painting in the Vineyard Sign Before heading over to the Yacht Club, we caught up with Donald and Daisy Duck strolling along after breakfast at Cape May Cafe! Couple goals!!! Note that Donald and Daisy don’t usually meet and greet outside at the Beach Club, but we just happened to get lucky with a little character training session! What’s New at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Friendship Boat Dock On top of the previously mentioned Goofy Cupcake, The Market at Ale & Compass is also featuring the Foot-Long Chili Cheese All-Beef Hot Dog for $11.49 without tax! The Market at Ale & Compass Menu We’re about to have a doggone good time eating that! YUM! The Market at Ale & Compass Anybody want to take a dip in the pool? Walkway Construction Sign The Yacht and Beach Club walkway by the pool cabanas is currently being repaved. Area Blocked Off Near the Pool Cabanas We guess that means definitely no running by the pool! Instead, you could hop on over to cast your vote in the latest Daily Disney Poll at The Market at Ale & Compass. (Shh, don’t tell the other bunnies, but our vote’s on Thumper, too!) Favorite Disney Bunny Poll It’s always a good time for some great wine! Over at Yachtsman Steakhouse, The Wonderful World of Wine had their most recent tasting on July 10th where guests were able to take tasting notes on the servings being offered. Yacht Club Main Lobby Globe We stopped by the Yacht Club main lobby to see if we could find the Hidden Mickey on the resort globe. Hidden Mickey on the Globe Guess what? We did!
