Kona Island at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort seems to have a deep craving for bacon lately.

First, they introduced three flavors of chocolate-covered bacon and now we have spotted a Bacon Chocolate-covered STRAWBERRY!

Seems like a strange combo, right?

Well, it sorta was and it sorta wasn’t at the same time. When taking a bite, you’d either taste strawberry OR bacon. We never really felt as if you could taste both at the same time even if they were in the same bite.

The chocolate honestly was forgotten as it was so overpowered by the salty bacon.

Speaking of overpowering, that bacon was definitely the most powerful flavor to us.

So, yeah, it’s a fun and interestingly strange idea. But sadly, it didn’t really work for us! If you’re looking for other bacon options, we suggest trying out the chocolate-covered bacon instead.

The strawberry is listed as a seasonal treat at Kona Island and will cost ya $4. And sadly, this is not a Disney Dining Plan snack credit option.

And as far as other strawberry options, there are plenty of choices at Kona Island — read about them here!

What do you think about this strange treat option? Let us know in the comments below!
