Learn How to Make the Perfect Cocktail This Weekend in Disney Springs!

Recommended Posts

So, Paddlefish in Disney Springs has been wowing us with innovative mixology from the beginning! Remember that crazy Halloween cocktail where you actually put charcoal in it? And Paddlefish was the first to debut a version of boozy popsicles (yes pls!).

Well they’re at it again on the mixology beat, my friends, with a new way to whet your whistle this weekend!!

Paddlefish, previously known as Fulton’s Crab House, is a decent option if you’re looking for high-end seafood and a charming atmosphere. Located in The Landing at Disney Springs, Paddlefish is the latest restaurant to occupy what used to be the Empress Lily way back in the day. A full-scale paddleboat (and yet an actual building, set on a foundation), it was named after Walt’s wife Lillian, who christened the vessel back in 1977. (A little trivia for you — this spot used to offer a character meal in one of its incarnations!)

But these days, they’re making the most of their Sassagoula Riverside location with a lovely rooftop bar (no reservations needed — just walk up the stairs!) and some great drinks! And now you get to jump in on the action.

This upcoming Saturday, July 13th, from 2-4 PM, you can try your hand with Paddlefish’s Mixology 101 Class! Taking place on their rooftop bar, the class will teach you the history of your favorite drinks and how to make the perfect cocktail! You will also get to snack on the three menu items: spinach & artichoke dip with tajin tortilla chips, calamari with peppadew piri piri, and fried green tomatoes with remoulade.

The Mixology 101 Class costs $55 a person with no refunds. You can purchase on Eventbrite tickets here!

Talk about a lovely Saturday afternoon mixer! Maybe you can pop over to Vivoli il Gelato for dessert?
