Disney4me
We’re bringing home the bacon thanks to Kona Island at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in Walt Disney World! Candied Bacon Oh yeah, my friends, the Polynesian now serves Chocolate Covered BACON. And THREE VARIETIES to boot! How do you CHOOSE: Dark Chocolate Chili-Bacon, Dark Chocolate Bacon, and Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan Bacon are up for grabs! Candied Bacon All three pieces of bacon we tried were thicccc and we mean thicccc in the best way! The Dark Chocolate Bacon was the most simple flavor-wise since it’s…y’know… just dark chocolate and bacon. We still really enjoyed it though! Dark Chocolate Candied Bacon Now, the Dark Chocolate Chili-Bacon is seasoned with a little chili powder and some chili flakes. This is supposed to give the treat an extra kick, but we wish there would have been more. It was honestly kind of difficult to taste the chili flavor at all. Womp womp. But still…chocolate-covered candied bacon, sooo… . Dark Chocolate Chili-Bacon Now, onto our favorite of the three candied bacon flavors…the Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan Bacon!! We LOVED this one because the crunch of the pecans took it to a whole other level. We loved the smooth chocolate, the pecans, and the salty bacon. The flavor combo just really worked!! Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan Bacon You can find these at Kona Island at the Polynesian for $4 a piece (sadly there’s no DDP snack credit symbol by the sign)!! And man, do we recommend getting all three. They’re seriously just so GOOD! If you’re looking for more chocolate bacon options, be sure to check out Jock Lindsay’s Hangar Bar’s Temple of Bacon at Disney Springs!! Are these bacon you crazy?? Let us know in the comments below!
