It’s not uncommon to see TV shows canceled throughout the year, as some fail to reach the viewership the show aimed for, costs become too high, or, at other times, the reasons are unknown. If you were fans of either of these Prime Video shows, we’re sorry to tell you that they won’t be returning for another season.

Variety just reported that Prime Video’s The Wheel of Time will not be returning for a fourth season. This is a fantasy series inspired by a book series of the same name. It followed “Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), a member of an incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, who embarks on a global journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.”

The series was produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, but the story isn’t totally over for this media. In April, it was reported that Iwot Studios was making The Wheel of Time into a video game that would expand on the global success of the TV series. At this time, it appears that the game is still in development, and will be for about three years.

Additionally, The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Prime Video’s series The Bondsman, starring Kevin Bacon, would not be returning for a season two. The eight episode series debuted on April 3rd and debuted at number 9 on Nielsen’s streaming charts with 563 million minutes watched, however, it exited the charts soon after and didn’t appear again.

The series followed Hub Halloran (Kevin Bacon), a former country music star and murdered bounty hunter, who gets a second shot at life when the Devil resurrects him to catch demons who have escaped from Hell. The series also starred Jennifer Nettles, Damon Herriman, Beth Grant, and Maxwell Jenkins.
