La Liste picked out literally 1,000 of the best fine-dining experiences worldwide and ranked them after analyzing thousands of publications, guidebooks, and reviews. Co-owned by Executive Chef Eric Ripert and Maguy Le Coze, this Midtown restaurant originally opened in Paris in 1972 before being relocated to New York City in 1986. The restaurant serves French prix-fixe menus for lunch and dinner and specializes in seafood. ©Le Bernardin Notably, Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi — which specializes in Afro-Caribbean — scored higher than some Michelin Star restaurants despite not having a Michelin Star itself. Scoring a 92.00, this restaurant finished higher in the rankings than 11 other New York-based restaurants.
