Disney4me
We’ve been obsessing over every detail for the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration, and it’s finally here! Paint the Night Parade Disneyland is bringing back the Paint the Night parade, and while we’re screaming from excitement, we got a sneak peek at the parade that we’re so happy to share with you. Paint the Night is back as of May 16th to kick off Disneyland’s 70th anniversary, which will run until the end of summer 2026. Sorcerer Mickey float This parade has over one million lights spread out through the parade floats, characters, and dancers, and truly lights up the park. Currently, the parade is set to have start times of 8:45 and 10:45 PM, but make sure you’re checking the Disneyland app for the most up-to-date information. This parade is SO GOOD! With this parade coming back, Disney has updated costumes and floats to make this parade even more spectacular! Little Mermaid float The parade has also brought back the Frozen float, which hasn’t been seen since 2018, when it was replaced with The Incredibles float. Frozen float If you’re looking for an exclusive parade viewing opportunity, you can purchase a Paint the Night Dining Package at Plaza Inn. This package includes reserved viewing and a meal that you can pick up from 1 to 4 p.m. Plaza Inn Wondering why we keep on saying Paint the Night is back and not new? That’s because it started in 2015 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration at Disneyland. It was the successor of the very well-loved The Main Street Electrical Parade (and the song for the new Paint the Night will be a nod to this prior parade!). Paint the Night ran consistently until 2016 and then became a seasonal offering or had limited-time showings. Goofy and Donald We cannot express how happy we are that this parade is coming back and ready to roll down Main Street. It’s a perfect way to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the park that started it all. Cars float Keep following Disney Food Blog for more Disney news and updates.
