The event, set for Saturday and Sunday at the Loch Haven Park museum, features science-based experiments and activities, and things get, well, messy. Among the scheduled activities are Alka-rockets and marble art in the Mess Hall, goo-based art at the Slimebar and a returning favorite called Foamsplosions. Mess Fest, which is included with regular science center admission, also includes an acrobatic show by WeFlip, Messy Earth StoryTime and appearances by local artists familiar with messy circumstances. Give Kids the World selects new CEO On Saturday, the 1997 version of “Flubber,” starring Robin Williams, will be screened as part of Storytime Cinema, a children’s film series.
